She’s studying Songwriting at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, but what she’s really learning is how to translate what we all feel as humans into music. Her sound fuses the elegance of jazz, the heartache of soul, and the immediacy of modern pop. Think Erykah Badu meets Tori Kelly - and you hear Madi, a songwriter unafraid to be vulnerable, who captures hearts and attention with her colorful, magnetic music. ​ Her debut album, Unrequited — produced with Fox Tracks Music — captures this balance between exploration and conviction. The title track, her first single to surpass 100,000 streams and reach radio play, showcases the accessibility and emotional pull of her music. In tandem, her live-recorded performance of “Snowfall”, a 6/8 jazz ballad on lost love, reaffirms her authenticity and command as a performer - present, unguarded, and entirely herself. ​ Madison’s music invites her listeners to feel accepted. “I want people to hear my songs and think, this is so genuine and raw that I feel seen,” she says.
