Madison DiMatteo

There’s something uniquely genuine about Madison DiMatteo. Maybe it’s the way her songs seem to breathe as if they were written in exploration. Or maybe it’s her voice: smooth, soft, and compelling, carrying a bright familiarity that makes you stop to listen. Born in Colorado and now based in Miami, Madison has built her foundation on emotion and curiosity. She’s studying Songwriting at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, but what she’s really learning is how to translate what we all feel as humans into music. Her sound fuses the elegance of jazz, the heartache of soul, and the immediacy of modern pop. Think Erykah Badu meets Tori Kelly - and you hear Madi, a songwriter unafraid to be vulnerable, who captures hearts and attention with her colorful, magnetic music. Her debut album, Unrequited — produced with Fox Tracks Music — captures this balance between exploration and conviction. The title track, her first single to surpass 100,000 streams and reach radio play, showcases the accessibility and emotional pull of her music. In tandem, her live-recorded performance of “Snowfall”, a 6/8 jazz ballad on lost love, reaffirms her authenticity and command as a performer - present, unguarded, and entirely herself. Madison’s music invites her listeners to feel accepted. “I want people to hear my songs and think, this is so genuine and raw that I feel seen,” she says. That’s her mission — to make space for the people who have ever been told they’re too much.   On stage, Madi’s infectious excitement and wonder seem to come from someone stepping into the spotlight for the very first time – yet when she starts to sing it’s clear that she’s wielding the control and musicality of a seasoned musician who means business. Her performances are equal parts joy and precision — leaving her audiences inspired and feeling at home.   It’s easy to imagine Madison on festival stages, the Miami skyline glimmering behind her, as her voice drifts over a groove that makes you want to move and reflect all at once. She isn’t trying to be another pop star, although it’s undeniable the world will know her name. When she writes a song it’s to act as a mirror for the listener, a reminder that authenticity never goes out of style.
